He is the recipient of Outstanding Librarian Award 2012 by AIMS (Association of Indian Management Scholars), Asian Professional Award (2011) by Special Libraries Association (SLA), USA and Best Librarian Award (2008) by Management and Libraries Network (MANLIBNET), India. He is a member on the Editorial Board of Vikalpa (a journal of IIMA), Chairman of the Editorial Advisory Committee of the Journal of Library Management and Member of Editorial Board of the International Journal of Information Dissemination and Technology.
Dr. H. Anil Kumar has a doctoral degree in
Library and Information Science from the M.S. University of Baroda, India and
the Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in Library and Information Science from
Bangalore University. He secured gold medals in both Master’s and Bachelor’s
programmes of Library and Information Science. With more than two decades of
professional experience at renowned academic institutions like National Law
School of India University, British Library and Entrepreneurship Development
Institute of India, Nirma University, etc.

Dr. Anil Kumar conducts a very successful training programme for publishers
titled as “Managing for the future” at the Indian Institute of Management
Ahmedabad since 2011 and is a faculty in MDPs like Innovating for Excellence at
IIMA.
He is currently the President of Management Libraries Network (MANLIBNET) India
and founding member of the International Centre for Technology and
Entrepreneurship (www.icreate.org.in).
He has five books and eight papers to his
credit. He has been invited to present papers in national and international

Dr. Mayank Trivedi

Member at Smt. Hansa Mehta Library, The
Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda, Vadodara.He has been instrumental in
developing Open Knowledge Gateway(OKG), IR @ MSU and the web portal of Bhaikaka Library,Vallabh
Vidyanagar. Prior to the present assignment, Dr Trivedi was University
Librarian & Publication Officer at Sardar Patel University, Vallabh
Vidyanagar. Dr Trivedi has been actively involved in establishing a new Medical
Library from grass root level at CU Shah Medical College as per MCI norms. Dr
Trivedi got nurtured at Pramukhswami Medical College, Karamsad, Govt Dental
College & Hospital and M P Shah Medical College, Jamnagar. He has started
his career from Cadila Labs Ltd. As an Information Scientist.
Dr. Trivedi has
attended more than 20 National/ International Conferences. Dr. Trivedi
has more than 20 research articles on his credit that were published in learned
research journals. He has authored Two books. Dr. Trivedi has organized several
workshops, user awareness and one IRTPLA Training Programme for SOUL 2.0 with
the help from INFLIBNET. He has also organized 15th NACLIN successfully. Dr.
Trivedi is a visiting faculty at various Universities of Gujarat State. He is
associated with PAC Committee at BAOU, Ahmedabad for BLIS and MLIS courses. He
has delivered talk as resource person for several training programmes,
orientation programmes, refresher courses and workshops. Five research scholars
are persuing Ph.D. under his guidance at various Universities of India. His work has been published by Sardar Patel
University in a book form (2010). His current research interests includes
Digital Libraries, Open Sources, Web-based Learning and Education, Health
Informatics, Web 2.0, Knowledge Management, Virtual Library etc. his current research interests includes Digital Libraries, Open
Sources, Web-based Learning and Education, Health Informatics, Web 2.0,
Knowledge Management, Virtual Library etc.
Dr. T. S. Kumbar

Librarian, IIT, Gandhinagar.
Dr. T S Kumbar is currently working with IIT,
Gandhinagar, before joining IIT he was at Dhirubhai Ambani Institute of
Information and Communication Technology, ( DA-IICT), Gandhinagar as Senior
Deputy Librarian of its Resource Centre ( Library).
He holds a Ph D in Library and Information Science from
Gulbarga University, Gulbarga and got gold medal for best Ph.D work. He has
worked in different libraries in the country starting from American Centre
Library at Chennai (Internee).
He has also briefly worked with Doordarshan ( TV)
Library at Chennai and Gulbarga University
before moving to Indian Institute of Technology, Mumbai where he worked for little over one decade.
Dr. Kumbar was with INFLIBNET for more than five years
before joining DA-IICT. During his working with INFLIBNET, he was instrumental
in initiating, SOUL Software, E-resources Consortium, Retrospective
conversion of five university catalogues, document Delivery Services involving
six universities.
Dr. Kumbar has published over 26 research papers and is
associated with a few universities for academic and research work. He is a
recipient of “Young Librarian” award from SATKAL Trust Chandigarh.
